John Pawson
Architects never just stick to buildings, so it's off to London to photograph the gentle and brilliant minimalist architect John Pawson with the new range of kitchenware that he's designed. It's called John Pawson for Demeyere and it's heavy and lustfully lovely and way out of my price range - and it's much too nice to smell of haddock.

Antony hegarty
In a small street of vinyl record shops and cellar bars that open after midnight, up a narrow staircase behind a repair shop, is a single room where John Marchant runs the Isis gallery. He's hung the amazing art of Antony Hegarty, better known for his music. Sadly Hegarty was in New York. It's in Hanway Street and still open. http://isisgallery.org

Haddock Free Zone
Baked a nice piece of haddock for supper last night. This morning we cleaned the oven, washed the kitchen walls, cleaned the kitchen floor, laundered the tea towels, replaced the waste bin, rewashed all the utensils - and after 24hours the house still STINKS OF FISH! So we have now officially declared that as from today, this house will be a strictly enforced HADDOCK FREE ZONE.
